TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Radionuclides are deposited between two hot-sealed polyester foils (approximately 75μm thick each). Each face of the source is gold vacuum-coated for optimum measurement efficiency. They are then mounted in a steel ring.
Radiological characteristics of the sources are measured with a calibrated gas flow proportional counter.
